Summer 2009 Schedule
Weekly camp programs run 9:00-3:00 Monday-Friday. For boys and girls learning for the first time or who have experience. In addition to individualized instruction, campers will be introduced to fun, skill building games designed to increase skills and confidence. Through relaxing, playing and having fun campers will enjoy a memorable and special camp experience.

Typical daily schedule Mon-Fri:
9:00 Participants arrive, warm-ups
9:15 - 10:30 Tennis (instruction, drills, games)
10:30 - 11:00 Snack break, talk on 'mental game'
11:15-12:15 Swimming
12:30-1:00 Lunch (provided)
1:00-1:50 Sport skills activity of the day
1:50-2:00 Water break, time to change activity
2:00-3:00 Fun tennis matches, group games
3:00 Parent pick-up



2009 Rates:
Camp tuition: $400 per camper. ($25 added for a provided lunch)
$125 deposit is required to reserve a place with the balance due on the first day. 10% discount if you register a camper for multiple weeks.



CAMPS MEET RAIN OR SHINE.
Indoor activities are planned on rain days - functional fitness training, court games, swimming and more!


OUR PROGRAM:
Our camper to staff ratio is 4/5 to 1. Each participant will receive individualized coaching in these areas:
  • Proper tennis stroke technique.
  • Serving, volleys, and specialty shots.
  • How to practice.
  • Warm-up, stretching and conditioning.
  • Footwork and movement training.
  • Strategy, tactics and the mental game.
  • The rules and customs of the game.
  • Playing matches (singles and doubles).
  • Team play.
  • Whole Life Skills.


In striving to build community, we have always welcomed boys and girls with differing abilities at our camp. We are proud to be a fully integrated camp for children with special needs and their typical peers.
